fun stuff [Jan. 11th, 2007|09:56 pm]

We're reading Calvino's Invisible Cities in Core 112, and -- this is shocking -- I'm kind of enjoying it. So I was reading about Calvino on Wikipedia, and then wandering through "related links." Found some fun stuff.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constrained_writing
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exercises_in_Style (a literary version of the improv game Replay, basically)
http://www.bevrowe.info/Poems/QueneauRandom.htm (a gazillion different sonnets. no really)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglish (just silly)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Train_de_Nulle_Part (a novel without verbs)
